Of Earth gathered be this man

In a life mutiny be mortality

Shaking uncontrolled moving as he can

Not fair time and it's brutality

Yet something stronger lies within

Strength that never ceases to abound

Love unconditional given to all and kin

Compassion and wisdom received by all around

More he always seems to give

From this man with heart of stone, made of dust

A legacy that will outlive

The fallibility of life that is so unjust

Love always given to those most dear

To this man a symbol of might

When even the bravest would fear

This life like a lion he will fight

In time and forever to God he will be near
